Prove me wrong: you will STRUGGLE overeating if you do this.
I recently challenged a few of my coaching clients to a little experiment: drink at least 100 ounces of water a day for a week.
Just one week. (You can do anything for seven days, I promise:))
I was curious to see if it would make a difference in their overall calorie intake (gotta stay within those macronutrients;))
For those over 5’4” (RAISES HAND), the challenge was at least one gallon (128 ounces).
My clients know that drinking this much water has a BOATLOAD of benefits: fat loss, improved skin health, reduced cravings and increased energy levels.
Okay - so not EVERYONE nailed this challenge, but for those who did, these are the things they noticed:
Weight loss: The overall trend on the scale was DOWN (not kidding - drinking water REDUCES water retention)
Improved skin health: Our skin was more hydrated and glowing (I noticed this too - loved it!)
Increased energy levels: We felt more alert and focused. Guess what? This BOOSTS your metabolism!
Improved digestion: We were all more regular - don’t be embarassed - we all do this:)
Increased satiety: In other words - you’re FULLER. Which means you eat less. Which means you’re likely closer to your calorie deficit, which is necessary to lose fat.
When you think about it - this is SUCH an easy, no-cost way to support your fat loss goals and overall health.
There is literally NO reason you can’t do this. None.
So, I challenge you to drink at least 100 ounces of water a day for a week. I think you'll be surprised at how good you feel.

Tips to CRUSH:
Drink water throughout the day. Don't wait until you're thirsty to drink water.
Carry a water bottle with you. This will help you stay hydrated throughout the day.
Add flavor to your water. If you don't like the taste of plain water, try adding fruit or herbs.
Make it a social event. Challenge your friends and family to join you in the challenge.
