Pat’s Story: Prioritizing Health over Convenience Results in Fitting Back into those 34” Jeans

Pat reached out to us in Fall 2023 with health concerns beyond weight loss. Hiis primary goals were improved health, energy, and heart function. With some existing health concerns, he aimed to potentially reduce or eliminate prescriptions. Sharing a healthy journey with his wife, and fitting back into his favorite jeans were additional motivators.

At 6’2” and 236 lbs, Pat's biggest challenge was consistent healthy meal prep. While he enjoyed the results, the convenience of processed foods often won out. He sought long-term sustainable habits to maintain a healthier weight without constant struggle.

As a work-from-home marketing and copywriting business owner, Pat focused on: 1) reducing belly fat, 2) increasing energy, 3) expanding his food palate, and 4) incorporating strength training.  In fact, he’s logged over 100 workouts and now works out four times a week.

Over four months of coaching, he lost 13 inches, approximately 20lbs and reclaimed his size 34 jeans.

Seven months later, he's down nearly 40 pounds, 21 inches and feeling fantastic!

Pat credits a newfound appreciation for whole foods as a key factor in his success. He feels better physically and mentally, attributing his progress to accountability, expert guidance, and a deeper understanding of nutrition and macros. When we asked him what the most valuable thing about working with Coach Annie, he said:

“Accountability for one, but I think just having someone there to guide through the process is huge. Learning about and understanding nutrients and macros is obviously key and I feel more knowledgeable and empowered when we go grocery shop, meal plan, or dine out.”

Pat is an amazing example of someone who put in the work, focused on consistency, and approached nutrition coaching as a true lifestyle change. Check out more amazing All Day Coach transformations here.
